Teams

  1. The legal entity represented by the Team should be an operating establishment from any country of the EU;

  2. The team is expected to appoint one representative responsible for communication between the Team and the Owner and be capable of providing a response within 48h time period;

  3. The team should establish a secure communication and information sharing channel between the Team, Owner and Organizer;

  4. Team must be ready to devote enough time during 4-week period to work on a solution and be present at the Hackathon event in Riga on 5th- 6th November 2019;

  5. The team should meet the requirements of Checkpoints during the 4-week development process;

  6. The team is expected to sign a Letter of Intention, thus confirming their goodwill for participation at the hackathon upon arrival to Riga on 5th - 6th November 2019.

  7. It gives additional benefit if a sustainable product development team is formed, including, apart from software development, knowledge in product design, marketing, and business development.

Solution

Solution

  1. Solution is supposed to benefiting for agri-food and packaging industry;

  2. Teams final submission during the Hackathon should include an explanation of what the Solution does and how it should be used and verified. If it is possible, a prototype should be presented;

  3. Final pitching should include either presentation of the Solution or demonstration of a prototype.

Jury

  1. The Jury is operating on two levels;

  2. First level Jury consist of five people, representatives of DIGICLUSTER project (one from each country and a Challenge Owner). This Jury is responsible for allocating Teams for each Challenge;

  3. The Jury consist of five people, Chairperson of the Board of Latvian IT Cluster, stakeholders and Mentors. This Jury is selecting winning Team by open voting and simple majority.
